Hello Mrs. Dempster, we hope you are well. Today we cleaned your beautiful Wool/Silk rug you brought here from Vancouver, Canada.
To begin with it was important that a colour and pile distortion test were carried out 'correctly', this was done and everything proved to be
fine, giving us the green light to continue with our processes and our solutions.
You can view all the different stages below from distortion test to, dusting through to drying and a fresh clean rug by viewing the pictures

As you will see there was a tremendous amount of dry soil which needed removing before we could even think about washing the fibres!
We also noticed a rather disturbing odour coming from a section of the rug, you pointed this section out to us when the rug was
collected, so our final job was to neutralise that odour. We have treated that area well and once your rug has thoroughly dried, it's in our
workshop drying right now, we will check the area again and re-apply our product should we need to. There were a few badly stained
tassles on the edges which we have also treated for you. Head Office will contact you shortly to arrange the delivery of your rug.
